I
visited Crown bingo in South Shields quite a few times and one night
the customers took us to this place across the road afterwards,
for a more informal bingo session. Then, as now, Billy seems to
be the star of that place. He’s not just a bingo caller, he’s
an entertainer. Since I last visited, he has got himself a fancy
new bingo numbers sign, and there was a singer singing covers of
Cliff Richard in between sessions. |
